Being in front of the camera feels weird. I know this. It doesn’t matter how confident we are, the camera comes out and suddenly we feel shy and don’t remember how to smile or what to do with our hands. I push myself to get in front of the camera so that I know what you’re feeling. Just know that I got you. I will adjust your hair and your hands and guide you from pose to pose (masked up of course!) you deserve to celebrate yourself, exactly as you are. Now booking studio sessions in Port Coquitlam. #existinphotos #legacyportraits #empoweringwomen

I obsessively track every print order until it arrives at my door. Even more so when it’s a gorgeous piece of wall art, handmade in Italy, of your own family. When it arrived I tore it open and stared at it. There is nothing like seeing yourself in print. There is something beautiful and validating about it. Like we were here, we existed, we mattered. This stunning product is the Amalfi panel, complete with a wood fiber outer frame, deckled mat and fine art print. No glass, no glare. One of the most unique products I’ve ever seen, starting at just $300 (smaller size than pictured). #printyourphotos #pittmeadows #pittmeadowsphotographer #existinphotos #legacyportraits

Remember the days of sunshine and flowy dresses? In these drab, dark, rainy January days it’s easy to forget that brighter days are ahead, literally and figuratively. In the meantime I’m busy ordering new samples and planning for some epic shoots this year. January is the perfect time to reset and reprioritize, while remaining cautiously optimistic for 2021.
