In March of 2020 the Province of Ontario extended March Break by a week as the world grappled with understanding the threat presented by an unknown virus. What followed was an almost complete shut down of the economy. Seven months later students are getting back to classes and the service provider organizations that run Employment Ontario progr...ams are opening back up with severe restrictions and mitigations. In this series, we will explore the impact of COVID-19 on the delivery of Employment Services. What can our reports tell us about the impact? What has changed? Who has been the hardest hit? How have we fared? What is our role in reopening / driving the Ontario economy? What else do we need to be thinking about? This is a 6-part webinar series. Between each webinar, participants will be asked to share their current challenges and solutions. To ensure you get the most our of this series, participants are asked to ensure they have their site level reports available to them for each related webinar. The first webinar will focus on the definition of Community Resiliency and explore our role in it. The next four webinars will do a detailed, comparative review of the relevant ES reports, and registrants will explore their own data. The sixth webinar will showcase how participating agencies are working towards community resiliency, as well as what worked and did not work with remote service and how you are bringing service users back.
