Keep your eyes open for the Staghorn Sumac, it will be coming ripe soon. These are 3 were shot yesterday. As you can see, they are at different stages of maturi...ty. The first picture shows a tree very close. They should be that dark crimson colour when ready. I will try to make tea with it today. That will be the real test if it is ready. Here are the medicinal properties of Sumac: Briefly, it is one of the best antioxidants, it helps your body lower your blood sugars, cholesterol and after a workout where you have aching muscles, it will help sooth those muscles.
