Parents, something I have noticed which made me feel compelled to make this post ...please be mindful of where you go while home with kids during this tough time. I know the weather is great and we are all home with our children and want to spend some time out getting fresh air in the beautiful sunshine with them. No one wants to be cooped up in our homes! But please refrain from taking children to playgrounds, there is no way to keep kids at the recommended safe distance of ...6ft apart, there is no way to sanitize the playground surfaces between each kid touching it, and just washing you hands or using hand sanitizer after is not going to prevent them the spread or keep them from getting sick. Our city has so many trails, beaches and forests we can explore and have fun while still remaining safe, doing our part of social distancing and enjoying our children and the weather. I have heard of many packed playgrounds this past week and the thought is making me cringe!!! So I am begging you all to please please please do your part, remember this virus can live on some surfaces for many days. Sarah's Lil Monkey's family childcare has one full time space available for a child age 2.5 and up, located in the Glanford/McKenzie area.
