Hey everyone As you all know, due to the current circumstances regarding the Covid-19 outbreak I have postponed foot care services temporarily. I have been contacting each of you individually and if you have not heard from me yet, you will shortly. ... I am composing a list of priority clients that are at risk for foot care complications (e.g. diabetes) and hope to be scheduling appointments in the coming weeks. At this point my main concern is having enough proper protection for myself while performing your care. (Gloves, masks, hand sanitizer). I deeply worry about being a source of transmission for the virus when travelling from home to home, to hospital, and LTC. Your health, your families health, and my health, are all very important. I am confident in my abilities to prevent transmission but am having difficulty securing PPE at this time. Whomever can volunteer to wait 4-8 additional weeks would be greatly appreciated as I would like to limit my exposure to homes. If you run into any foot concerns or nail emergencies in the meantime please seek assessment from your family physician or contact a podiatrist if needed. I would like to take a second to thank everyone for being so understanding during this crisis. Keep safe and stay healthy! -SARAH

Feeling very grateful to have met a wonderful woman named Joanne. An established foot care nurse in my community. She is retiring in the next week and I am very lucky to inherit a handful of local clientele from her Every Thursday beginning on November 7th I will be hosting a foot care clinic at Wellwise (Shoppers home health) in the Delta plaza.
