Hello! I haven’t quite introduced myself yet, so let me share some fun facts about me. I am more than just a realtor, and maybe we have some things in common I am Indigenous and belong to the Wikwemikong First Nation on Manitoulin Island.... I am a lifelong musician. Although my main instrument is acoustic bass (stand-up), I also play guitar, piano, ukulele, and sing. You can follow or check out my music account @bassplayergal I have a strong affection for bees. The nice kinds, like honeybees and bumble bees. I used to be a beekeeper and spent hours observing them, before stealing their honey. You’ll never catch me swatting at one of these girls. I love essential oils and natural medicines and often create healing salves, balms, and other potions to heal what ails you. I have a diploma in computer programming. Yep, I’m kind of a geek. I went back to school as an adult and there were only 2 women in my program. It was fun and it’s come in useful for many jobs but technology changes so fast I’ve now turned my attention to other things.like real estate and property management I’m a creator. I love tapping into my artistic side to make things like jewelry, beadwork, décor, cupcakes, and write songs. I must admit, 2020 hasn’t been too bad for me. I married the love of my life , launched a new career, and achieved some health goals I never thought I could. The limitations on travel and social gatherings have allowed me to concentrate on my self-care, set new goals, and spend quality time with my loved ones in my ‘bubble’. A few things I will be leaving behind in 2020 (or at least work towards) are; procrastination, carrying guilt, not forgiving myself, and emotional e...ating. As we ring in the new year of 2021, we are still adhering to COVID-19 restrictions but despite this, there are still goals I will aspire to. This past year has taught me; the importance of my health, to mindfully express gratitude, and the importance of a positive mindset. That said, I would like to start journaling, create another vision board, read some inspiring books, and start a realistic exercise routine. Whatever your vision is for 2021, I hope it brings you good health and happiness.
