Tentative reopening date: June 15th, 2020 (waiting on delivery of PPE) NEW CLINIC COVID-19 PROCEDURES: In light of the Covid-19 Pandemic, here are some changes to clinic procedures to take note of at the clinic for the foreseeable future:... APPOINTMENT TIMES: There will be 1 hour between treatments to avoid any overlap between clients, and to allow for sanitization of the common areas and clinic room. PRESCREENING, ASSESSMENTS, FORMS: Everyone must complete the Covid-19 assessment form which will be emailed to you 24hrs before your scheduled appointment. If you do not complete the assessment form, your appointment will be cancelled. The assessment can also be completed over the phone if you are not able to fill it out online. ENTERING THE BUILDING: At the time of your appointment, please wait outside the building on Bloor street. I will come out and meet you. Before you come into the building, we must do a visual and verbal Covid-19 assessment. If you arrive early you can text, email or phone me, and I will come down to Bloor Street and let you in. If you would like to avoid entering the building's main entrance, there is a back entrance in the alley that goes directly to my clinic room. Please let me know if that is preferable to you prior to the appointment. Upon entering the clinic, I will lead you to a hand washing station where you will be required to wash your hands with soap and water. PPE: Masks in the clinic are mandatory at all times for both the client, therapist and any visitors. You may bring your own cloth or surgical mask. If you do not have a mask, you can purchase a surgical mask from me for 2$. If you are not comfortable wearing a mask, I will not be able to treat you at this time. I will be updating the new procedures as the situation evolves. All of these procedures will be included in your appointment reminder email. To minimize risk of spreading Covid-19 within the clinic, I will be implementing all of the sanitization and safety measures mandated for massage therapy clinics by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Ministry of Health. *Any in person treatment carries the risk of spread of Covid 19. *Only book an appointment if you feel the benefit outweighs the risk of receiving a massage treatment.

New update at TMT for Covid-19 pandemic: After a lot of soul searching and logical thinking, I have decided to close the clinic for the next two weeks in order to help ‘flatten the curve of the spread of this virus. It seems like the state of things continues to change and escalate every day. This was not an easy decision to make; obviously taking time off of work is a scary prospect, and none of us can be sure when life is going to be able to go back to normal again... h...owever, it doesn’t feel right to me or to most of you who’d be coming in, to keep on treating at this point in time. Hopefully if Canada/Toronto is able to do this right, we can make a difference right away in how fast this keeps spreading, and then go back to some semblance of normal life sooner than later?! Looking forward to hopefully seeing you all in April!! Fingers crossed.... Until then, stay safe and healthy! Sara

Dearest clients, with regards to the current Covid19 pandemic: please note that as long as Toronto Public Safety continues to deem our risk of infection as low, I will continue to be available for treatments. For your safety, we are diligently sanitizing all commonly touched areas in the clinic after all our clients. When you come in, please use the facilities to wash your hands and prevent the spread of any number of viruses that could have been picked up along your rout...e to the clinic (this is still flu and cold season after all...). If you have recently travelled in the last 2 weeks, please wait to book for the next two weeks to quarantine yourself and to keep all of us here at the clinic (and in Toronto) safe. If you or someone you have been in contact with recently are feeling unwell, or have any cold or flu like symptoms, please know that the 24hr cancellation policy is always waved for illness. Just email me and let me know if you need to cancel within 24hrs of your treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about your health - if you are in pain and unable to come in, please know I am always here to help you with stretches and/or possible ways to decrease your pain until you are able to come in for a massage treatment. I’m also available to you if you feel that you are unwell and unsure of how to navigate the health care system at this very chaotic time. I am doing my best to keep up to date on all the things we need to know about how to stay safe during the current pandemic.
