November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Alarmingly, 1 out of 3 women and girls experience physical or sexual abuse i...n their lifetime. COVID-19 has overwhelmed shelters and services designed to assist women who experience abuse, leaving them even more vulnerable than before the pandemic. With a little bit of teamwork, we continue to support at-risk women and girls around the world including here in Canada. Earlier this month, Air Canada flew our hygiene kits packed with items donated by P&G everyday Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. Then, a generous Air Canada employee delivered them to Sardis DoorWay, an organization that offers support and programs for at-risk mothers of young children in Chilliwack.

Thank You Berry Bounty Farms farms for supplying our families with the most amazing farm fresh eggs ~ We love and appreciate the local businesses who go above and beyond to support Sardis Doorway and our families. Thank You just doesn't seem like enough.

Congratulations Kiwanis Clubs of Chilliwack and Sardis ~ We know you are the best in any region. Each year Sardis Kiwanis Club provides the funding to purchase more than 1,400 jugs of milk for our families. Thank You to this amazing club.
