Sarnia 3 on 3 Street Hockey Challenge

A big shout out to all those players that should have played in the provincials or league championships. Keep your skills sharp by playing a little street hockey... with your family in the driveway. We are all missing our favourite sport.... as NHL playoffs would be getting underway and local players would be trying out for next years teams. Keep hockey alive.

Its disappointing to post, but the committee has decided to cancel the event for 2020. We are hoping that by May, this has all cleared up and we are all outside playing street hockey again, but we are doing this for our sponsors. We don't feel its fair to ask them to support a local event when they are short on funds and recovering financially. As a result, we will be returning all sponsorship money that has already been donated to our 2020 event. All teams that have already registered will also receive a full refund. The treasurer will be contacting the team rep shortly. Stay well and we hope to see you and your team back in 2021.

I know some of you hockey players are also basketball players. This is a great weekend for basketball. Lambton College plays tonight at 8pm vs George Brown. Semi finals are Saturday starting at 4pm with the Bronze game Sunday at 12pm and the Gold Medal Game at 3pm. Go Lions. #DefendTheDen
