Dr. Veronica Campanucci, our guest speaker at the New Member Recognition Event spoke highly of her involvement at WUSC. WUSC is a global develop organization providing education, employment and empowerment for youth. WUSC is hosting three amazing events over the next month in support of women’s education. Dr. Veronica Campanucci obtained her undergraduate at Universi...dad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and her PhD at McMaster University. She focuses her research on the effect of pathological conditions on the nervous system, especially mechanisms triggered by oxidative stress. Dr. Preston Smith completed his undergraduate degree as well as his postgraduate studies in Dalhousie University. He has held positions as a Fellow in the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Chief of Family Medicine, Chief of Medical Staff, and Vice-president of Medicine for the South-East Regional Health Authority in Nova Scotia, and the current Dean of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
