In support of this year’s Step Up for Mental Health run/walk taking place May 11, 2019, we have decided to cancel the Saskatoon Police Foundation Half Marathon scheduled for May 5. Our motivation has been to raise funds in support of emergency services and programs like Project Lifesaver Saskatoon. Emergency services are often the front line for supporting and managing the impact of those affected by mental health issues. Throwing our support behind Step Up for Mental Healt...h makes sense for us in our effort to end the stigma surrounding mental health. We are not going away; stay tuned for a new and exciting Saskatoon Police Foundation challenge very soon. Thank you for supporting our run for the last 9 years. In 2018, the Saskatoon Police Air Support Unit handled 6% more evade police incidents over 2017 while flying 15% fewer hours. Thanks Saskatoon, for all of your continued support!
