We are deeply saddened about the untimely death of Dr. Joe Garcea of the University of Saskatchewan. He was a great friend and supporter of IWS, having volunteered as a Guest Presenter for our Youth-in-Transition Summer Program ( Boys) from 2007 to 2010 for workshops on : the Canadian Political Systems, Youth Leadership Development and the Role of the Newcomer Youth in Community Leadership. Beyond his support for our Organization, we also acknowledge his generosity and service to the entire Settlement Sector in Saskatchewan. Our deepest condolences are to his family, loved ones and friends; our thoughts are with them during this very difficult time. https://www.ckom.com//well-known-political-studies-profes/
