CONTESTANTS WANTED Do you have an amazing shower voice, are you the person belting out all the tunes in the car, do you know all the words to all your favourite jams, are you the front man or woman in your band..... Well come prove you can sing at Outlaws. It's season 2 of Saskatoon Sings, Saskatoon's Best Singing Contest. It's a very easy contest we will have nightly performances on Wednesdays. Contestants will sing 2 songs nightly either tracked back ground music aka Karao...ke style or with an instrument (this contest is a solo contest no duos or bands). We will provide all the tracked back ground music you just have to tell us what you want to perform. Your performance will be judged by the S.C.M.A & SASK Music award winners. We have one of the largest prize packages out there $1000 cold hard cash, a brand new Fender guitar, Jeans for a year from Cowtown, One Pizza a month for a year from UNA, a One Year Gym Membership from Anytime Fitness, Tanning for a year from Bronze one. Your name on the Championship Trophy Guitar & a chance to preform with judges in the judges jam right after the finals. Judging Categories Singing Ability Stage Presence Crowd Reaction *** Bonus Marks for the contestant that brings out the most people so get your people to say they are here to see you at the coat check. *** One person will advance from each week straight to the finals, we will have a Wild Card Round to round out the remaining finalists 8 people will advance from the wild card to the finals. Wild card week will be March 22nd with the finals on March 29th. Song choices must be in by 5pm on Monday and we will email you back a copy of the track to make sure it is the correct ones (if you are using back tracked music).
