2012 was a very wet spring, made this farm look like it had a moat and a castle wall made of bales!
waiting for the Bluebirds to return :)
I will be posting a few photos at a time, of some of my favourite old houses, I've noticed in recent posts by others that some of these have deteriorated rather drastically in the past decade. First, a poem I wrote some time ago: Homestead the echo of laughter... the echo of tears the shadow of hope and the shadow of fears lifetimes of dreams have passed the family home the family farm I kept them safe I kept them warm only the memories last -m. worel
Most likely long gone, this shed was east of Fairy Hill on the road that runs along the north side of the valley (it 'dead ends' on private property).
Last light before overcast!
The sun coming up behind me, lighting up the fields.
Such a beautiful range of colours on the old wood, I wonder what colour this was originally painted!
In their own way as iconic as grain elevators - a few water towers from a recent road trip :)
