It's foosball night! Tonight Sports on Tap 8pm! If you've never been to one of our tournaments, and are wondering what to expect, this is the perfect time to come out and try it! Some details:... - The tournament starts at 8pm, and runs until about 10:30. - We almost exclusively choose non knockout-based tournaments, so you can get more games in - Expect to play until 10:30 (let us know if you can't stay the entire night, as it is usually unfair to the other players if you drop out mid-event) - All games are handicapped; everyone has a fair chance to win (some people have to score more goals to win than others) - The entry fee is 6 dollars. The winnings get split between 1st and 2nd, sometimes 3rd. - In addition to the 6 dollar entry, you must have loonies, as one team per game must plug the table (we do not own the tables, they are not set on free mode). Which team pays is determined via coin flip. - There are some tournament play rules you might not be familiar with, but all regular players are willing to help you learn the rules and advance your skills. - We play every Wednesday, so if you can't make it this week, consider a future week!
