As we prepare to welcome you back to the marina on May 19th, in accordance with the Re-open Saskatchewan Plan, we want you to know we will be trying hard to provide the best possible service, just delivered in a slightly different way. The next time you visit us, you’ll notice the following: Limited Entry: To respect physical distancing, a limit of 3 customers will be allowed in the store at one time and we ask you to limit entry to one member per family. We do ask that you... respect the 2 meters of social distance from our staff wherever possible. Plexi-shields: We’ve installed Plexiglas barriers at the counters to provide additional health protection. Increased Sanitation: Elevated sanitation practices which include, but aren’t limited to, hand sanitizer upon entry, disinfecting pens between use, responsible handling of documents and cleaning the payment terminal after each use. We also ask that our customers think carefully about your purchase before handling the merchandise in the store; we will be happy to assist with any questions and inspections of the larger items. With respect our clothing and PFD’s we will have a selection of different sizes for you to try on prior to a potential purchase (they will be sanitized after each use), but per the guidelines we are unable to accept returns at this time. Curbside Pick-up: If you prefer, our staff can deliver items to you on the deck or the service dock and payment can be made via a remote payment terminal. We’d like to thank you in advance for your patience as we adjust to these changes. We assure you we will do everything we can to serve you as quickly and safely as possible. See more

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share an update to the ReOpening Guidelines as amended on May 8 (Page 46) as follows: Passengers in boats do not have to be from the same household, but must maintain as much separation as possible.... For more information, a complete copy of the Plan can be found on the saskatchewan.ca website. I feel we are still on the right track, maybe ‘First and Ten on our thirty-five yard line? Remember, no fumbles, but go take your grandchildren fishing!

It is a real pleasure to now share some good news with our Sask Landing Marina patrons and supporters! We will be opening both the store and the docks on May 19th as part of Phase 2 in the Provincial Re-Opening Plan. Services will include fuel sales on the water, but our other offerings (boat rentals and mini-golf) will remain closed until subsequent Phases of the Plan are implemented. I think it is a good time to thank the people in our civil service for their support and ...hard work. The Health Care Workers, and so many others who provide essential services in the public and private sectors are still front and center and deserve our utmost respect and encouragement. But there are many people in the background that build and maintain the infrastructure that keeps it all together. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the hard work, support and advocacy provided by the Business Services Branch of Sask Parks including the folks at the regional and local level. For all of our public employees and elected officials the re-opening plan was and is a massive undertaking and will be for a long time to come, and they are breaking new ground for the entire journey. We can be proud that the Plan is being reviewed and substantially adopted in other jurisdictions; let’s continue to back the Plan with the strong social discipline that is still absolutely critical to making it work. I know we can rely on your continued patience while we adopt the Health Guidelines at the Marina along with our own Covid-19 mitigation measures. We too will be breaking new ground and for us the challenge will be to discreetly modify some of the rewarding social interactions that have given us much pleasure over the last few years. We will make some mistakes as we go along so please remember, your input, ideas and criticisms are always welcome. See more

Good Morning Everyone, I hope this finds you all well and enjoying some nice spring weather. I know I promised not to bother you unless I had something to share, but at the same time, many of you have had questions which perhaps I can help with. You are probably all aware of the Saskatchewan Re-Opening Plan announced one week ago (the link to the full plan can be found at www.saskatchewan.ca/COVID19).
