Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Education

The launch of the new School of Continuing Education is coming at a critical time in our province’s history, said Dr. Larry Rosia, Sask Polytech president and CEO. It will allow for retraining and upskilling for those whose jobs have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The School of Continuing Education is currently unable to register new students. Restoring access is an important part of the work underway over the holidays. We understand the impact and are making plans to move start dates for courses and add additional course sections where there is high demand. Look for an update early in the new year on campusupdate.ca.

In January 2020 Sask Polytech began a special pilot project for newcomers to Canada. This pilot, funded by Employment and Social Development Canada, provided En...glish language training alongside parts management training. Congrats to the 14 newcomers from Venezuela, Sudan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, India, Thailand and China that completed the program this month!
