After 10 years in business I am being forced to close my doors as of June 1 due to eviction. I closed to protect my community yet no one protected me! Grants that I don’t qualify for and grants that my landlords don’t care to apply for are NOT helping! A commercial eviction ban makes sense economically, politically and morally. Standing up for the little guy to vicious landlords, to use Ford’s own words, would be the most on-brand thing Ontario’s premier could do. So why hasn’t he done it?

Late post*** This is a photo of where Sass Fitness (originally Shanyn’s Artistic Strength Studio) officially started 10 years ago! Yesterday was our anniversary but instead of posting about it, I just kind of sat with it all day and thought about what this business means to me and how it has effected us all. No matter where we’ve moved or the struggles we’ve had along the way, there’s always been constant love and support. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for the people I’ve met along the way who I can call my friends. Hearing you say you can’t wait to come to class each week and you love Sass makes my heart so full! We’re working through a tough patch, but I have hope that this is temporary and we will make it!! I love you all so much
