We make these croissants, pure butter, rolled by hand, at a volume of just under 20000 a year. After twelve years, it is a work of passion, not profit. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

SLICER FIXED! We have sliced bread available again!!

OH NO! Our bread slicer has blown its belt and is not working. So sorry to disappoint you all, until it is fixed we will only have unsliced bread available. Stay tuned- when it is fixed I will let you know!

Unfortunately, we have run into a maintenance issue at Second Avenue Sweets and we will have to be closed tomorrow, Thursday May 7th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are hoping that we will be able to correct the problem in one day and be able to open again as usual on Friday. Thanks for the support everyone!

This spring, Girl Guides won’t be coming to your door to sell cookies. As parents with two daughters who are guiders, we can tell you that Guides is a fantastic organization that has had a huge, positive impact on the lives of countless girls and young ladies. As the guides cannot go door to door this spring, we will be selling cookies at our shop. Currently, we have mint cookies for sale. Please consider buying a box.

Until today, most people were practicing good social distancing. Today it seemed like every time I turned around there were three or four people in the shop. Please people, help keep us all healthy and safe.
