October 31st marked the last day for Harrigan’s 100 Mile Food Market in Southampton. Mayor Charbonneau and members of Council were there to present a certificate for 35 years of service and the Business Recognition Award for adaptability and resiliency throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. They Kept their store stocked with supplies we were used to buying, they continued to have home baked bread and deli counter. Ice cream remained and served all summer. Daily closures along North Shore Road will begin tomorrow (Thursday, October 1) as Town staff perform temporary erosion protection. Traffic will be blocked on McVicar Street at Fenton Drive and on North Shore Road at Bushwood Drive from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
