Put an end to those hot days cutting grass with a custom air conditioning conversion kit.

Definitely going to be a big year for mice. We are seeing a steady stream of equipment with a nest and/or chewing damage. This tractor engine has a very large mouse nest on the #1 right hand cylinder (by the lower tire). You can see how the cylinder should look as the #2 left hand cylinder is fine (by the upper tire). Nothing blown yet but this engine would be getting very hot.

Beware of damage caused by mice. This engine has one cylinder completely blocked by a mouse nest. No air flow on an air cooled engine means big trouble. In addition the mice will chew on components. This engine has wires chewed in multiple locations. Normally you will see a tiny bit of the mouse nest showing. The engine needs to be disassembled to determine the extent of the nest and any damages. On this tractor there were no signs of a nest only the smell.

Some big news from our industry. Briggs has had a number of other challenges over the last few years. The company is far more diverse than most people realize. Hopefully this will give them a fresh start. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com//century-old-engine-maker-bri

We see some impressive air filters over the season. Always a shame to see equipment destroyed because a $10 filter wasn't changed. Here is a beauty. The only reason the engine ran a little longer was due to the hole in the blocked filter. It also let all the dirt through and ruined the engine. One picture shows a new filter beside the old one. The other picture is what it looked like behind the filter and how much dirt was going through the engine.
