There will be a little more music in the halls at Sault Area Hospital, thanks to Long & McQuade (Sault Ste. Marie)! A generous donation of a new Epiphone acoustic guitar today will help our Recreation Therapy team provide concerts and lessons to patients who are in rehabilitation and mental health programs at the hospital. Pictured below are Lindsay Pugh (Store Manager of our local Long & McQuade store), and Recreation Therapy team members Wayne Marion, Taylor Dewling (holding our beautiful, brand-new guitar) and Theresa Neveu. On October 30th at 11 am, Fern Portelance of Chapleau, ON, won the $253,575 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation’s (SAHF) October electronic and online 50/50 draw.
