The Sault Cycling Club will be hosting a virtual information session on the proposed Finn Hill Mountain Bike Trail project. This 3 km trail will be located on the west side of the Finn Hill section of the Hub Trail between Northern Avenue and Finn Hill. It will be constructed by a professional Trail Building Company using best practice safety and environmental standards. Most of it will be on existing trails along the ridge line, all on city owned property. We hope to begin ...construction in 2021. WHY ATTEND? Big things are happening at Hiawatha Highlands and this is just the beginning It’s amazing how much work can be accomplished in just 1 week! You can find these 2 new trail sections on the Crystal Creek trail system. A bypass of the sand hill.... A new downhill section of Nemesis. The SCC would like to thank FedNor, the Economic Development Corporation of Sault Ste Marie, the City of Sault Ste Marie, Tourism Sault Ste Marie and the Kinsmen Club of Sault Ste Marie for the funding and support for these trails. You can expect to see much more in 2021. Please show the trails some love by staying off until they are officially opened.

The SCC will be hosting a virtual scavenger hunt at Hiawatha Highlands between Friday, October 16 and Sunday, November 1, 2020. *This is a free event for those with 2020 SCC memberships.* Each child that participates will receive a Halloween Treat Bag at the end of the event and will be entered in to win a $25 gift certificate.... There will be two locations (Pinder & Family Adventure Trail) for children with different cycling skills levels. You can choose to participate in one or both. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: 1.
