During the pandemic, young mothers are still enthusiastically attending Adult Literacy classes. Life is always challenging, but nothing will stand in the way of a mother that wants to learn so they can help their children to do better in school.

Nine year old Hassen needed to be carried everywhere by his mother, who is about 5’ tall, as due to severe cerebral palsy, he is unable to walk or even sit up. As a Sauti Moja donor, you helped to realise this wonderful moment for mother and son when Hussen received his wheelchair. This is certainly love in action <3

Four goats will help a grandmother no longer have to beg for food; she will be able to feed herself and earn a bit of income for personal needs. ($65 provides one goat to help relieve hunger and improve nutrition for an elderly person.) Many orphans of conflict are in need of food assistance and, due to lack of fees, are often unable to attend school, where they can get lunch.
