Good morning! Hopefully everyone is doing well, and staying safe and healthy. So, I've been asked a few times now about the upcoming reopening of Massage Therapy. I know that everyone is counting down the days until they can get their next treatment! On my end, due to personal reasons (extremely high cost of proper PPE and other factors) I won't be taking clients quite yet. Hello everyone! So, I know most of us are probably going stir crazy at this point in isolation, but I know we can all hang in there for a little while longer. I also know that a large number of us use massage as a bit of "me time". Even if it's only 1-2 hours a month, that little bit helps. With all of this extra stress, our bodies are going to be taking a hit and we all need to stay on top of our muscular health. Our bodies hold onto stress a lot longer than we would ever th...ink. So, let's try to be kind to our bodies and remember that they're doing the best with what they've got. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, but until then, I'm opening my doors (online) to anyone that might be needing a couple of pointers on stretching, exercises, or even if you just want to talk. Hello everyone, let's talk about germs and infection prevention! So, amidst this chaos that we call the coronavirus or COVID-19, we all have to be diligent with our cleaning standards. As always, after every appointment, I make sure to wipe all surfaces (including door handles) down with a disinfectant that ensures any sort of pathogen is eradicated. Along with this, I always wash my hands before and after every treatment to ensure that there is no cross contamination between... clients. I do all of this to ensure the health and safety of each and every one of you beautiful people. When you book an appointment with me, please make sure that you are not feeling ill or under the weather when you come to see me. I will provide hand sanatizer if you would like to use it before and after the treatment. As for cancellation policies, I usually ask for 50% of the treatment cost if the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. However, in this case, if you are feeling unwell, message or call me and let me know. I am willing to reschedule without any fees. Please remember that even if it doesn't affect most of us in drastic ways, there are people with compromised immune systems or are already in a state of homeostasis imbalance. This means that if they catch it, it could be quite harmful to them. On the upside of things, when you book your first appointment with me, you get 20% off of the first 60 minutes booked!!
