It's me, Jenn, from Desert Wind Belly Dancers. *He can keep telling stories!!* Remember when I thought we could save Chinatown? When I thought we could get Albert home and restore a building that was like a home to me (and so, so many others)? You have to register, and that's a 2 second pain, but I want you to. Please vote. Every day. While Desert Wind Belly Dancers won't be going home to dance, we'll be able to take a trip back in time with future generations. Love you Albert! http://bit.ly/2dpQV0P

Your Vote Can Help Save Buildings and History in Lethbridge's Chinatown Thank you to everyone who has already voted. Remember you can vote everyday and the contest runs until the middle of November. Please continue to share this with all of your families and friends. At present we're at over 2700 votes and over $2500 donated (you don't need to donate to vote but remember that every $1 helps towards the interpretive centre and building renovations). But we have to keep voting.... The Bow On Tong building is in a national competition to win $40,000. The money will help us convert the front of the Bow On Tong into an interpretive centre where we will share the history of the Chinese community in southern Alberta. Work also continues to get Albert back into the building to live (and to share the history in the interpretive centre) and to create other spaces within this building and the Kwong On Lung building next door. https://thisplacematters.ca//lethbridge-main-street-proje/
