Mental Health Week has been a great opportunity to visit the spectacular arboretum at Riverview. This 244-acre former mental hospital has served the mental hea...lth of BC residents for more than 100 years. And while its role is changing, including new investments in mental health services and infrastructure, the grounds still serve as a tremendously calming and peaceful escape. So, if you're stressed by COVID-19, why not slip away to view some amazing trees from around the world. See more

Hello Everyone, We hope you are all staying safe & healthy. As expected with the current situation all our Tree Tours are Cancelled/Postponed until further notice. The Tree Tour schedule was online last month & some posters were distributed so if anyone saw those we wanted to be clear there will not be a Tour tomorrow (March 29) as originally scheduled. We hope things will get better soon for all of us.

COME OUT to GARDEN at FINNIE's! The idea of having ‘Garden Beautification Parties’ came out of discussions between RHCS Executive & BC Housing. Our society expressed interest by our membership in continuing the Society’s historic work in the Garden and for more public volunteerism on-site. The hope would be to continue this event monthly in the future. Check their online schedule; lunch is included so do register https://bit.ly/345HBYY so they know how many people to expect.
