Repurposing Ministik School

Thank you to Martin Rozema for using his bus to pick up a group of people from South Cooking Lake Hall & driving us to the council meeting! We appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule and also volunteering your bus for us to use!! Big thank you also to the bookmobile and the trio that watched a group of kids so parents could go and stand behind Ministik’s presentation. Knowing that our kids were safe & having a great time made it so much easier to make it out!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Just a reminder to everyone about the presentation to Strathcona County Council TOMORROW. Here are the details: Date: Tuesday, November 13 Time: 11:00am for our Presentation ... Where: Elk Island Public Schools Board Room Why: The more people that attend shows council the support we have from our community to repurpose the school into a community centre. There is NO audience participation. Only attendance needed to show support. There is a bus leaving South Cooking Lake Hall at 10:15 sharp if you don’t want to drive in.

Due to this weeks events please note below. UPDATE: The Priorities Committee meeting on Tuesday November 13 will be held at Elk Island Public School Board (EIPS) Administration Building (683 Wye Rd, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 1N2). The meeting starts at 9:00 am as per usual and the building will be open at 8:30 am.... Please park in the Visitor Overflow Parking lot at the far end of the lot.
