Happy 2-Year Anniversary Friends! Despite starting the day with heavy rains and high winds, Friends of Muskoka got in their boats and in some cases travelled great distances to demonstrate against waterfront residential subdivisions in Muskoka. Just prior to the planned 2PM start time, the rain stopped as several hundred boats descended on Wallace Bay. At 2:30 PM, we all sounded the alarm. Here's a clip from this incredible event. ... Two years later, the fight to stop residential subdivisions on the shores of the Muskoka Lakes continue.
