Sending love and calm and healthy vibes to all our sweet clients and gem friends!! As we make our way through this unprecedented time we can all feel cozy in the knowledge that we are in it together! If you need to talk or need a laugh or some advice, we are hear for you!! This photoshoot made a long time vision come to life. We wanted to create imagery that told a story that isn’t often featured in the mainstream, an indigenous one. Kristy’s beautiful Mama Kathleen of @cree_...beads created all the intricate beadwork for this shoot, she taught herself in the traditions of her Cree ancestors and has now passed on the practice to her daughter as well. Kristy and I made the capelet @terbear_xoxo is wearing, inspired by a traditional Cree style featuring an ‘elk teeth’ beaded pattern with a modern minimal twist. We love how it paired with the stunner gown from @unionbridal. Our amazing and talented friend @jennifertakesphotos brought the entire thing together with her incredible eye.
