Savoy’s South Indian Kitchen Calgary, Savoy’s South Indian Kitchen Edmonton and Savoy's Express U of A. Being local our values have always included providing exceptional authentic taste of Indian flavors, excellent dining experiences, takeout and catering. The safety of our guests and our team has always been paramount.... As we continue to do this we must address the actions we are taking in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) threat. In addition to our already high safety standards and assurance of quality we are working closely to follow any advice from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Alberta Health Services (AHS). We are reinforcing our standards of cleanliness and sanitization of surfaces throughout the venues. We are dedicated to the ongoing education of our team in all departments on the COVID-19 threat and preventative measures. While our commitment to providing our guests and community with memorable experiences hasn't changed, minor operation changes may as we monitor the evolving situation. We can't stress enough that YOUR safety and that of our team is the most important. They have ...three locations across Alberta Two in Edmonton (One on Campus at U of A) and one in Calgary. The restaurant was started by a group of friends coming together and taking over the original smaller restaurant. With an amazing culinary cultural heritage they bring over 70 years of combined experience to the kitchen at Savoy's. All of the dishes are based on Southern Indian Cuisine and their top dishes are all made in house with the authentic ingredients. Their top dishes include Chicken 65, Beef Ullarthu, and Mango Fish Curry. The Chef's recommend if you've never tried Southern Indian Cuisine everyone in the party should order something new and share! Originally they most served people who are familiar with Indian cuisine but they have also built a following of people who tried it at Savoy for the first time!
