The founder of Emei Linjin Baiyun (hereinafter referred to as Emei Qigong), was a Taoist priest named Baiyun. During a pilgrimage to Emei Mountain, one of the four famous mountains of Buddhism, he had a vision of the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, a great spirit of Emei Mountain, and gained enlightenment. This led to the fusion of many different teachings into one system, Emei Qigong. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, the magnificent Emei Linji school of Buddhism was est...ablished. It has a history of more than 800 years. The Emei Qigong method is profound. It combines the essences of traditional Chinese medicine, Qigong, martial arts, I Ching, Taoism, and Chan Buddhism into an extremely refined theory and method for treating and conditioning the body. Ivy Zhu, as a 15th generation student of Sun Shengtang, who is the 14th generation successor, has been systematically studying Emei Qigong, as well as methods for treating bone injuries, since 2012. The energy therapy she excels in is effective for treating headaches, spinal problems, lower back pain, rheumatoid arthritis, liver qi stagnation, indigestion, and GI problems. By May 2018, she became the 15th generation teacher of Emei Qigong. Aside from treating injuries and ailments, Emei Qigong is an effective means of promoting general health and wellbeing. Ivy Zhu can provide therapeutic massage and energy therapy for those people who are new to the teachings of Emei Qigong. Additionally, she can provide instruction to anyone who wants to learn the art form themselves. Consultations welcome.
