Happy Birthday, Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House. Tom Goodchild "The Kid" opened his first location with two close friends Paul & Tony on Calgary Trail on this day 44 years ago. Tom was the Maitre'D, Paul was the chef and Tony was the bar manager. This was the beginning of TTP Investments. The only business south from the Sawmill in 1976 was the now Delta South hotel! Pictured below is the original location... The Sawmill was known as a Dining Room & Lounge back then versus... a Prime Rib & Steak House.
