Having a son the age where many mothers had to send theirs off to war really brings into perspective what it must have been like to release your child into such an important yet scary fight. This year has been difficult with so much uncertainty, but I can't imagine what the years were like during the wars. The fear of your child/husband/friend/relative not returning home would weigh so heavily for so many days. And some would have their fears realized by a knock on the door, ...and some would have the relief of being reunited once again...yet many of those returning had been forever changed by the horrors of war. Thank you to all those who fought and to all the families that waited at home. I know many are not with us today, but I am ever so grateful for the freedom we have because of their ultimate sacrifice. Here's what I've been working on! This is some of what will be available. Personalized ornaments are available as well! Round are 3.5" and the other shape is 2.75" x 4" metal ornaments. Cost is $15 each for ready made, personalized are $18 and custom photo ornaments are $25. I'm working on getting them set up on a website, but it's not quite ready.
