Hi wine lovers it is Bill from Say High To Okanagan Tours. Today I would like to share with you what a wine manager does. This position is very complex. Just picture this kind of day: phone ringing & ringing, customers driving up for wine orders, e-mails from wine club members with orders to box & send out wine around B.C. Call the courier service for pick up.. and label the new vintages.. Oh yes, you do get a lunch to recharge.. Next, the accounting for all the wine sold th...at day... Make sure the alarm is on, doors locked, gate closed You will need to enjoy a bottle of wine for the evening.. So remember your hard working dedicated wine manager who always has your best interest on her mind.. Next time you see one of these individuals say thank you for all there hard work they do.. Happy Easter....Spring is in the air.. I have seen alot of yard work being done. The vineyards are getting alot of love and attention but all we can do is drive by and stare. This weekend we would be hosting guests from around the world and taste our world class wines. We are cleaning our vehicles with regular organic household cleaners or diluted bleach (1 part bleach to 9 parts water). vacuum all vehicles with each cleaning. Since respiratory viruses, such as the one that causes COVID-19, are spread through contact, change how you greet one another. Instead of a handshake, a kiss or a hug, a friendly wave or elbow bump is less likely to expose you to respiratory viruses. Practice frequent hand hygiene and coughing and sneezing etiquette. Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the bend of your arm, not your hand. Dispose of any tissues you have used as soon as possible in a lined waste basket and wash your hands afterwards.
