CELEBRATION OF ASH WEDNESDAY Ashes are ready for those who are planning to celebrate Ash Wednesday at Home follow the mass online. Please ask Lisa Natewayes or Maggie Hunter how you can get Ashes for your Family.

SAVE THE DAY In the Roman Catholic Church, Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the season of preparation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Ashes will be distributed on February 15th and 16th The ashes are made by burning the blessed palms that were distributed the previous year on Palm Sunday. The distribution of ashes reminds us of our own mortality and calls us to repentance.

God saw that it was good Today begins the reading of the book of Genesis and the psalm captures the glory of God’s creation. This beautiful account from the Priestly writings, written after the exile, offers an understanding of God that is based on religious observance and loyalty. Each section begins with ‘God said’. Imagine this reading delivered within a liturgy; slowly, dramatically and with the chorus joining in with ‘and God saw that it was good’. Proclaim it out loud yourself! Our respect and care of God’s work of creation has never been so important and in our liturgical and prayer life it needs to strengthen us to really care for this world. The psalm gives us a joyous song of deep gladness that we should know in our souls. No wonder we use both readings to begin the Liturgy of the Word for the Easter Vigil.

Kids Pilgrimage to the Shrine Our Lady Of Seven Sorrows. As we are celebrating our novena in honor to Our Lady of Seven Sorrows. Kids gave her homage to Our Parish through a pilgrimage with candles and praying the Holy Rosary Today.

CHURCH'S ANNIVERSARY - OUR LADY OF SEVEN SORROWS "The Lord has done great things for us. Holy is his name". We are inviting to the community to celebrate our Parish Anniversary together this coming Sunday 14, at 5:00 Pm follow by a social gathering. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVE AT THE KATERI HALL.

PROCESSION WITH CANDLES - SATURDAY 13, AT 5:00PM Our Lady of Seven Sorrows is inviting the Kids to participate in the procession with Candles, from the Parish to the Shrine, this coming Saturday 13. SUNDAY MASS AT THE SHRINE So beautiful celebration with the community of Sandy Bay at the Shrine in the presence of our Mother Mary and celebrate Lake Saint Ann Pilgrimage. After the celebration we hosted a small gathering to share the history of the shrine and social life.
