We are sorry to report about Roland Blaser, son of Hans & Annelies Blaser, sister to Christine Philipsen and Dan Blaser, has passed away on October 5, 2020. Her...e are the memorial details. Please keep the family in your prayers. Thank you. Peacefully, at his home in Bancroft, on Monday, October 05, 2020. Roland Blaser, age 59, was the beloved husband of Margaret (Phipps) Blaser. Loving father of Matthew Blaser (Nicole), Lorrisa Baerwinkel (Chad), Matthew MacDonald (Jessica) and Travis MacDonald (Laura). Grandfather of Olivia, Erika, Aksel, Brodie, Easton, Korbyn and Hailey. Son of Hans Blaser (Margaret) and the late Annelies. Brother of Christine Philipsen (Holger) and Dan Blaser. Brother-in-law of Nancy and Patricia. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Roland spent many years with The Miller Group, and was also The Sausage Guy, as owner and operator of Blazin Dogs in Bancroft. Cremation has taken place. Roland’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Friday, October 09, 2020 from 12:00 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. Lynn Watson officiating. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place.
