How are all of you doing? This is a political free zone, but you’ve all been on my minds

My heart leans towards earthy color palettes. Sages, eucalyptus, dusty rose, burgundy’s and gold tones.... be still my shaking tummy

2020 is gone, done and over. It’s taught me many things, some good and some not so good. I’ve learned that I can, have, and will overcome any obstacle thrown at me. I’ve learned that there’s no place like home. Home is where I’m centered, and where the ocean and the woods call me. The east coast and NB may be small in numbers, but vast in adventures. Find yours this year, big or small.... I’ve seen, heard and witnessed the ugliness of misinformation, of racism, and injustice....but I know that there is...Joy ahead. Joy is everywhere, we only have to stop a moment and take it all in. Joy in laughing helped me a lot. Joy in my boys eyes at puddle jumping, the first snowfall or the jellyfish in PEI. So I say to 2021: You’re here. The world is so ready for a fresh start. We’ve learned, I hope invaluable lessons. Snow coming tonight and tomorrow will blanket us in white...purity and joy and the new. Storms can be dangerous, but oh the joy and beauty we can find...slow down, watch and smile. They don’t last, they give way to light I hope you bring the world peace, tolerance and a better understanding of science. Of what’s most important in our lives. Heal us, as we learn to heal our planet, our hearts and minds. Give us this year to practise all we’ve preached. To be better, to do better. To be tolerant. To celebrate all of our differences , our cultures. Time to learn that we are ALL human, and ALL of us are entitled to equality in ALL its forms. Make your books of 2021 bestsellers. I plan to! Take so many pictures! Post them. Doesn’t matter if you think it’s a lot! Do it!!! Share your joy! Happy happy new year to each of you. May you find comfort and joy in small things. Learn to appreciate and to be grateful. I will still wake up with a glad heart and find something to celebrate each and every day of 2021. To my brides....this is YOUR year to shine!!!
