While the guys paint trim and doors in the garage, I finally get to catch up on some books...but I have a friend that doesn’t like to be locked out of the office

You don’t have to spend a ton of money to have nice garage floors. The 2 part epoxy rustoleum garage floor kits work and look awesome when done right (Prep prep prep!) We are definitely not epoxy pros but when friends say let’s do the new garage floors before they move in, we worked together and got that done.

A few tweaks and this would be the perfect coffee station design

Who wants to paint the new Benjamin Moore 2021 colours ? I can’t wait to actually see what a few look like in a room.

Perfect week for exterior painting

My favourite jade home I’ve worked on. I’m always surprised that these homes are RTM homes. Just because your home is being moved, doesn’t mean it has to be plain.

Here’s a project we just finished in dunmore. Sometimes I shock myself seeing the change colour makes. Stop pondering the idea of painting and just do it.

Even the saddest looking shops can be fixed with a little love. I promised Ray I’d paint his shop a few years ago and finally got it complete. We hand scraped the entire building, siliconed every crack and used spray foam to fill any bigger parts that needed filled. We then sprayed a stain blocker primer and applied two coats of cloverdale exterior cover coat. One person ran the sprayer, one person got to roll and the other two had brushes all pushing the paint in every crevice, making it a complete seal that will last a long time. It’s definitely not the easiest job but the results are amazing to see. Next step is a new main door. They only got the left over paint to make my pictures look better

Another exterior project complete I love working on projects that have fun colours. I opened a fan deck for Jenny and she pointed to a sea foam type colour swatch. She wanted different Not brown, grey or black! Not even bright white! So I painted everything with that sea foam green/blue tone. Everything from stucco to eve’s were painted. There’s nothing paint can’t cover this house is located at 14 Harris st sw if you want to check it out. Being near the river I now call it the beach house.

Quick paint job on a rental before the new peeps move in. I love fresh white ceilings! Everything looks so fresh and clean.

Congratulations jasper homes I’m so excited to take on a bigger role with this years show home. I’m just about done painting there and this years home is definitely going to surprise everyone.

Here’s another colour! Jenny had a surprise colour the first coat..cherry red wasn’t quite what she thought she bought. No point hating your colour so I sent her back to the store while I worked on something else. We haven’t quite determined what colour it really is but at least it’s not cherry red anymore. It’s supposed to be a rust colour FYI it take 4 coats to get the true colour of a red tone over a white door. Keep that in mind when picking colours. Some pigments are not easy to work with.

If you look close, you can see the purple door peeking through the glass. Anything’s possible when it comes to paint.
