In the spring of 2020, we launched an initiative to empower our clinician-scientist community. We awarded three research teams $15,000 and proudly awarded the Phase II CCS C3I Top Up Award to Dr. Amer Johri and his team, Drs. Joshua Durbin, Omid Kiamanesh and Sharon Mulvagh. Heart patients who are avoiding hospitals during the #COVID pandemic are suffering permanent damage, say cardiologists.
