Welcome to the new normal..as with many Driving Schools we are adapting with the current challenges. We are planning a class in August which is full. There are also plans for a course in September and October. The dates are not confirmed but they will be conducted on the weekends as it’s been determined that schools will resume at full capacity. If you’d like to have your student in the pending file for contact with future class information you can register at www.scdrivingschool.ca. I’m am developing an in car protocol to achieve adherence with health directives: 1. The student must arrive with a mask that they will wear during the session 2. We will use a temperature gun prior to the entrance to the vehicle. 3. The student will be provided with hand sanitizer before they enter the car 4. The car will be sanitized before each student. Cleaning of the door handles, seat adjustment, mirror adjustment, steering wheel, shifters and all levers the student wil...l come into contact. 5. You may wear glove that you provide but it is not mandatory Looking forward to getting back in the car

We are working hard to resume our in car session. Please be patient as we are working on assisting students that missed their road test and in car sessions in March, April and May. I am contacting students as quickly as possible and unfortunately everyone is going to experience a delay in testing. The DMV has notified us that they will be looking at reopening road testing but only for persons that had theirs canceled due to the shut down at this time and will not be accepting calls for road testing from us nor the public. This is estimated to take approximately 6 weeks. For students that had a confirmed road test and were canceled the DMV will call the number on file as having booked the appointments and will offer a time, date and location. The only reason to call DMV is if you need to cancel the appointment they provide for any reason.
