Came across this Bryant quote about God's temples ... and brought up an age old problem of mine. The wealth of the 'church' and the poverty of the people. What happened to take care of the widows and orphans. $4M to build a church - imagine the affordable housing that could be built. http://bit.ly/1M3QH9m

Presence of Generations of Ancestors - I think I got it, finally!! You know how sometimes we say we believe this or that (rather vaguely)? Well, there are moments when WE BELIEVE and to add any words to try and explain would be disgraceful. Oh, look & feel at the SUPPORT we have when we arrive at the point of knowing bits and pieces of 1000s of our ancestors have formed to make ME, now, and their qualities, experiences and wisdom are available for tapping!... That was my experience in Ireland. I felt my grandmother as I walked her journey through the West Cork Mountains in Ireland ... as she headed to the place to board one of those 'coffin ships' that would bring her to the new world (Boston). It was like she had her hand at my back, her spirit coursing through my veins - amazing!!

So cold! How cold you ask? So cold even our ghost froze. ;-)

Love this one! "When life knocks you down, roll over, lay on your back and look at the stars." A matter of perspective! Gazing at the stars I imagine my planning out the next stages of my journey.

A lesson from nature, again and of course. This one on being "rooted" when life's storms blow in. This collection of photos of roots and how they grow and obvious tenacity, determination and strength is in a blog I wrote - the photographs are just amazing. The middle photograph is a fig tree. There are a 1000 ways and things to be learned in observing the tree, its life cycles, growth, changes, seasons ... how it weathers the storms of life.... The "rooted" aspect of this speaks so clearly in times when everything around us is going mad, and we need to anchor ourselves, rooted deeply not to be swayed and bartered about until it subsides and returns to a more casual and normal setting.
