This week we joined the list of 'past owners of The Corner Store' in Linwood (Fish, Bundy, Schummer, Sauder, Zehr and now Schnurr) as we turn our focus to our grocery store where the Schnurr's have been serving Linwood and area for over 160 years. Thank you for your patronage at our Corner Store location over the past 19 years. We hope you will give a warm Linwood welcome to the new owners of The Corner Store.
Wherever you are this Thanksgiving Weekend we hope you take the time to stop and reflect on the many blessings that have been given to each of us. (Feel free to stop by and sit in the chairs on our porch if you need a place to reflect!)

Over the past eight weeks of uncertainty and changes our staff have shown incredible resilience and commitment. Thank you Jennifer, Rachelle, Gloria, Margaret, Sandra, Maria, Judith, Linsey, Arriana and Lisa!
During these times of increased economic insecurity some families in our surrounding area are finding it hard to make ends meet. We are accepting food donations at our store for the Wellesley Food Cupboard. We are planning to make a drop off of requested items to the Food Cupboard at the end of the month. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. We have a collection box near the front of our store.
Walking around Linwood, this is what we see....... Thanks to the Linwood Recreation Committee for starting the Neighbourhood Window Walk! Kids, if your windows are too far from the road to be seen, bring your pictures or colouring pages to our Corner Store location. You can tape your picture to the outside of the window and we will come out and get it and post it on the inside of the glass for you.
