Saban and Scholars both share a commitment to excellence, and there is a direct connection as he coached our @trustworthy_pete Peter Dyakowski at LSU @lsufootball. This Championship was made extra special by the great young wide receiver @metchieiii John Metchie III from Brampton becoming the first Canadian to win it since Peter won it in 2003. We'd like to congratulate @t_armstead Terron Armstead of the New Orleans @Saints for being the recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award. The award is given to one player from each NFL team who has persevered through adversity. Terron made it through a challenging year, dealing with very difficult personal loss and injuries, and still managed to be a steady and dependable presence for his teammates, even earning his third Pro-Bowl spot.
