February is Black History Month. Today the Emergency Childcare program at our Glen Dhu location got the conversation started as they explored Black Historians. They began their focus on the contributions of Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Mae Jemison, and Ruby Bridges, and then explored the origin of the Djembe drum. The children created beautiful displays and extended this experience by creating Djembe drums of their own! Looking forward to seeing what they share next!

SPC ZOOM Learning Sessions continue to be a tremendous success with with our families - we have offered 130+ Family Engagement sessions and we continue to enjoy seeing our families daily! Emergency child care services are being offered for children from birth to 12 years old and is reserved exclusively for eligible health care and frontline workers who have no other alternatives.
