Schooners has recently been approved by the City of Oshawa for a temporary patio as part of the stage two re-opening of COVID-19. We have a total of four tables with up to four chairs per table (umbrella provided for shelter from the sun) One hand sanitizer bottle at each table A dedicated staff member to clean the tables after each use ... We are not taking any reservations for the patio, as it is first come first serve. Please let our staff know if you would like to eat on our patio so we can provide you with a takeout box and utensils. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the patio. Please discard any trash into the garbage bin in front of the restaurant. Our patio hours are the same as our restaurant hours. Please be mindful of the closing hours so our staff can safely dismantle the patio furniture at closing time.

Schooners would like to thank all customers for their cooperation, understanding, and patience on Good Friday. We were extremely happy to hear that everyone was following the 6ft. social distancing rule in line. We would also like to thank our two brave staff members: Nikki and Dwayne for braving the cold weather to ensure that the traffic of customers coming into and out of the restaurant was handled as safely and effectively as possible. Easter Weekend Hours Friday April 10th 11:00AM-8:30PM Saturday April 11th 11:00AM- 8:00PM Sunday April 12th CLOSED... Monday April 13th CLOSED Tuesday April 14th 11:00AM-8:00PM Schooners will be open on Good Friday from 11AM-8:30PM. As per every Good Friday, it will be first come first serve, take-out ONLY and NO phone orders or delivery. We would like to note that due to COVID-19, we have had to make numerous changes to the way we go about our traditional Good Friday protocol and we are doing our best to make this as safe as possible for everyone. One of the major changes this year is that we have reduced our menu on the day of Good Friday to Fish & Chips ONLY with the exception of including chicken fingers, salads (coleslaw/macaroni), gravy, and drinks. We are also still offering Gluten-free products, which have the same restricted menu of Fish & Chip ONLY- with the exception of including chicken fingers, coleslaw salad, gravy, and drinks. The purpose of the reduced menu is so we can get customers in and out of the restaurant as quick as possible so they don’t have to be in an enclosed space with the public for very long. The menu will be back to normal after Good Friday and you can resume ordering from our regular menu then. Thank you
