Today is #BellLetsTalk Day, a day to raise awareness and funds for mental health across Canada. If you or someone you know suffers from mental illness, be it depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, addiction, or other mental health issues, you know how this can affect lives. While we as a society are getting better at understanding and treating addiction and mental health issues, we still have a long way to go. Compassion is a large part of it, so we ask that you please educa...te yourself and those around you to these diseases. If you or someone you know needs help, please start a conversation. Talk to your spouse, your family, your doctor, a co-worker, a friend - find someone you trust and start to talk. It really does help.
