In honour of #InternationalDayOfPersonsWithDisabilities, we would like to highlight the Elaine Anne lift system. This prototype for an unassisted driver's lift was designed by a father who wanted to help facilitate better access and operation of a vehicle for his quadriplegic daughter. This Canadian technology has helped improve the life and mobility of disabled persons who would normally depend on others for their transportation needs. #IDPWD https://bit.ly/3lmYi9v

You can use it to code and decipher messages, just like British mathematician Alan Turing and the team at Bletchley Park did during the Second World War with the invention of the Bombe. #DYK? In 2009, Alan Turing received a posthumous public apology from the British government for the persecution he faced because of his sexual orientation. #lgbtHistoryMonth #PolybiusSquare #SecretCode
