Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great long weekend with Family day and Valentines day. This photo wasn't from our weekend but the only one of all of us I could find right now!!! I feel sooo much better and ready to serve you all!!!!... For todays #TipsTuesday.... Since it has been pretty dry lately... make sure you're using a good moisturizer. Not only on your face, but hands and body too!! Signs of a good moisturizer: *absorbs well into the skin so it doesn't leave it feeling greasy or oily. *your skin stays moisturized all day. *You shouldn't be able to feel it. Signs you may need a new moisturizer: *causes redness/irritation. *your skin is still dry. *you're breaking out. *Oiliness - when you notice your skin is quite shiny throughout the day. *you're finding little bumps on your skin. #TipsTuesday! Here are some helpful wedding day booking tips.... Not sure how to secure your day? A signed contract and deposit secure the day, time and artists.... Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are the first to get booked up. Peak season May to October are high wedding season times and booking 6-12 months in advance is recommended. During these times, booking 2022 asap is highly advised! 2021 is still so uncertain but this is typically your average booking times for makeup/hair artists. Regardless, if you book with us, we can re-schedule you at no cost if you're unable to have your dream wedding. Please keep in mind because we are a boutique style business with a very small team of 4, we typically only service two wedding parties or groups per day. Extra timing is padded on every service for your convenience and is included in your quote. While we recommend booking a trial 1-2 months prior to your big day, you are welcome to use it for any other special event coming up that you cant to look and feel special for. It is World Kindness Day, Feel Good Friday AND Friday the 13th!!!! I know it looks rainy and miserable out there today but it's all about perception. I choose to look at it as a beautiful day. I've always thought of Friday the 13th as being a lucky day and I will continue this thought for the rest of my life and teach this to my kids. How do you look at this day? Life is about how you look at it. Are you controlling your mind or is it controlling you? You do have a choice.... Make the right one. Remember to do something kind for someone today.
