Q & A: Cancellation of Hotels Booked: Westin Ottawa, Les Suites, Novotel, Marriott Downtown, Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, Courtyard Marriott-Dalhousie St., Hom...ewood Suites, Lord Elgin Hotel, Sheraton Hotel-Albert St. Q: What happens with my hotel booking? A: All SDCCS Ottawa 2021 hotel blocks will be cancelled on your behalf. If you used any of our hotel codes to book your hotel, you don’t need to do anything. Q: What if I wish to keep my hotel booking? A: You many do so at the negotiated rate until March 1st, 2021 by contacting the hotel you booked with, directly. Q: What if I booked my hotel through a 3rd party, ie Expedia, Travelocity, etc.? A: You will have to go through the 3rd party you booked with directly. *NOTE: We will be looking at re-contracting with all the same hotels for 2025. Booking reference codes should be available by July 2024, following SDCCS Kamloops. Given the successful large number of bookings that took this place for 2021, we will be requesting larger room blocks for 2025- to be determined. Any other questions or concerns related to SDCCS Ottawa 2021, please direct them to: [email protected] FLIGHTS: Though this is out of our control, it is our recommendation to contact your airline provider asap to seek a refund or credit for what would have been your flight to Ottawa for our event. Travel credit should provide you the opportunity to book elsewhere within an 1-2 year period. If necessary, you can make reference to our advisory or that of SDCanada, that the 2021 event had to be cancelled, at no fault of your own.
